i usually take the month of july off from picking games just because everyone really needs to get away from betting games at least part of the year to avoid braincramps and to get ready for feetball. but i LOVE this situation here and there is no way i am going to pass this one up:

dodgers played a 7P game in SD. game ended about 10P. the fastest they got to the airport was 11P. they then flew to st. louis, which is a 3.5 hour flight. add in a 2 hour time difference and the ride from the airport to the hotel and there is NO WAY the dodgers get to their hotel before 5A - and most likely 6A (stl time). they then have to play a 6P (stl time) game against a cards team that played a DAY game in SF and probably got into stl around 10/11P - which for most mlb players is no big deal since they are night owls and even if they played a game in stl they wouldn't have gotten home any earlier than 10/11P anyway. dodgers can't score runs when rested - so how the hell are they supposed to score when they are dead tired?
i know i said i probably won't play many - if any - games for july - but this situation is too damned good to pass up!
cards -135 (tomko over ishii) looks like a major league blowout
